Space Cowboys
The space-themed glamping domes at Space Cowboys are practically custom-built for stargazing. Each "Space Pod" features massive, crystal-clear panoramic windows, allowing you to gaze directly at the cosmos from the comfort of your bed. If you prefer to be outside under the open sky, you can relax by your own personal fire pit, kick back in a zero-gravity swing or hammock chair, and take in the awe-inspiring West Texas night sky right from your private terrace.
Terlingua Ranch Lodge
Located 7 miles further on down Terlingua Ranch Rd. from Starlingua. For a no-frills, unplugged stay, the cabin rooms at Terlingua Ranch Lodge are hard to beat. Each clean, quiet room has two queen beds, a full bath, air conditioning, and a mini fridge, and opens onto a shared porch with mountain views by day and a sky full of stars at night. Ranch Retreat (BBVR)
Just a quarter mile past Starlingua, this off-grid hideaway sits on 90 private acres with 360° views of Nine Point Mesa and the Corazones Peaks. The cozy one-bedroom home runs on solar, sleeps three, and has both a screened porch and an open one, so there's always a shady spot to relax. Limited air-conditioning. The views are amazing!
